Project Name: Ayvens
Our Role: Office interior design, custom furniture manufacturing
Location: Budapest ONE Office Building
Year: 2025
Status: Completed
Size: 2,155 m²
Beyond its striking architectural design, the Budapest ONE office building holds several prestigious certifications. In response, one of the key objectives of the interior design was to closely align stronger ESG requirements and a sustainable mindset with comfort and aesthetics.
The brand’s key themes — “Flow” and the “Future of Mobility” — are reflected in a design language built on movement and continuity: curved forms, permeable zones, and hybrid (active and passive) spatial connections. The result is a welcoming, light-filled, nature-inspired office that inspires the team and translates the brand promise “Better with every move.” into a spatial experience.
Flexibility
The new office was developed across 2,155 m², with one of the main spatial objectives being the creation of a flexible, reconfigurable environment. The space functions as separate dining–kitchen and conference areas, while also allowing them to be opened up into a larger, all-staff setting when required. The layered spatial organization is carefully considered down to the smallest details, with gradual transitions leading from more active zones to protected, focus-oriented areas.
The multifunctional space is separated by a mobile partition with high acoustic performance and sound-absorbing surfaces. The selected mobile furniture further supports flexible configurations and agile ways of working.
Innovation
The integration of modern technologies reflects the company’s innovative mindset. The touchscreen meeting room booking system, positioned at each room entrance, displays real-time availability and provides clear visibility of space utilization—allowing colleagues to organize their daily workflows more flexibly. A large-format LED wall combined with a calibrated AV system ensures clear visuals and high-quality audio from every seating position, significantly enhancing hybrid collaboration.
While maximizing natural daylight, the artificial lighting system operates with presence and daylight sensors in shared areas, supported by a DALI lighting control system. This ensures that each space is illuminated according to optimal working conditions.
Experience & Impact
The bold brand colors are applied in softer, warmer, and more nuanced tones, subtly integrated into the spatial design. Zones of varying activity levels are defined through a combination of exposed industrial-style building services and more enclosed, standard ceiling areas, complemented by targeted acoustic solutions.
Plants placed in carefully selected planters, along with suspended green installations, contribute to reduced stress levels, improved focus, and overall well-being. The resulting atmosphere is youthful and dynamic, while also conveying comfort and a sense of familiarity.
Measurable qualities—such as acoustics, lighting, ergonomics, ESG performance, and overall comfort—deliver tangible operational benefits, while less measurable aspects—such as brand experience, community, creative energy, and inspiration—become key drivers of long-term engagement.
