As a result of its dynamic growth, Alteo — an energy services and trading company — relocated to a new office building. The leased space is distributed across four floors. In parallel with the development of the interior design concept, the company’s visual identity and logo were also renewed. ESG principles played a key role in shaping the interior spaces.
One of the defining elements of the concept is a continuous, curved lighting feature running through each level, accompanied by parallel curved acoustic lamellas that connect to similarly curved custom joinery elements. The realization of these features required a high level of craftsmanship and close coordination between multiple disciplines.
Due to the company’s specific organizational structure, the layout differs from current trends: instead of open-plan offices, a more cellular office arrangement was implemented, presenting additional challenges during the design process.
Elements reflecting the renewed brand identity are primarily expressed in the communal areas and at the main reception located on the 4th floor.
ESG-related information panels appear along the corridors, presenting the company’s values through a positive urban vision powered by renewable energy, contrasted with an alternative city relying on fossil fuels. In addition, an installation illustrating the principles of the circular economy is also featured.
In terms of materiality, natural oak surfaces and olive green dominate, complemented by accents of the brand’s vibrant bamboo green. To enhance well-being, only live plants were specified throughout the office, appearing in various forms: as full-height green walls at reception areas, integrated with seating elements, and arranged in planter groupings that create small green oases within the workspaces.
In the kitchens, natural materials and tones continue to define the atmosphere, complemented by terracotta accents. The warm, lively character of terracotta is echoed in various poufs and seating elements.
The meeting rooms are also inspired by nature and renewable energy sources, resulting in spaces such as the Sun Room, Solar Plant Room, Wind Room, Wind Farm Room, and the Bamboo Green Boardroom.
