Our design task focused on the renewal of the arrival area and auditorium of Hankook Tire’s plant in Rácalmás.
Upon entering the building, visitors are welcomed by a reception desk that forms the central element of the space. The cabinetry positioned behind it subtly structures the layout, gently separating the waiting area without fully enclosing it, allowing the two functions to remain visually and spatially connected. The waiting area in front of the auditorium is organized into smaller zones, whose colors and forms reflect the company’s brand identity.
Curved lounge chairs and acoustic screens echo the distinctive forms of a tire, reinforcing the visual presence of the Hankook brand within the space.
A guest meeting room opens directly from the reception area. In this space, the focus is placed on the distinctive, vibrant orange meeting chairs, which create a dynamic contrast against the more restrained, monochrome finishes. The neutral palette of the surfaces provides a balanced backdrop, intentionally highlighting the form and color of the furniture.
A similar approach to color is applied in the auditorium; however, here the primary objective was to create a low-stimulation environment that supports concentration. Neutral tones and clean forms establish a calm atmosphere, while warmer materials and more natural textures introduce a sense of comfort and approachability. As a result, the space simultaneously supports focused attention and a pleasant user experience, while maintaining a cohesive alignment with the company’s identity.
